Lindsay joined Brightsource at the beginning of 2009 to develop their recently launched carbon footprinting service. She is responsible for analysing and collating the reference data that sits behind the accompanying new software tool - footmark. Initially covering the activities and processes associated with each of the lifecycle stages of direct marketing campaigns, the long-term aim is that footmark will be able to compare and contrast carbon emissions across all marketing channels. Lindsay formerly worked for Jonathon Porritt's sustainable development charity, Forum for the Future, where she was instrumental in developing their quarterly B2B publication, Green Futures.
